To keep fruits and vegetables in good condition, good storage is necessary. Below we give you some tips:
Chard and other green leafy vegetables (such as lettuce, spinach, watercress etc.) will be stored in a bowl in the refrigerator with a little moisture that we can keep with kitchen paper or throwing droplets of water distributed throughout the bowl.
The avocado lasts longer if we store them in a paper bag and leave them at room temperature.
The garlic should be kept in a cool and dark place.
The basil, the celery, asparagus and broccoli can be put in a glass with water (like flower in a vase).
The zucchini will be wrapped in a sheet of paper or napkin slightly moist.
The pumpkin holds well in a cool, dark place if it is unopened. Once opened we will keep it in a container in the fridge where we will put a sheet of wet paper so that the pumpkin maintains a little moisture.
Onions need a well-ventilated place with little light. We must store them in a place without humidity and in which the air can circulate well.
