There are more and more places where insects can be found as part of a healthy and balanced diet. Although they can also be part of a fashion, the fact is that insects have been traditionally consumed in many countries due to their benefits and the qualities they have for the body at all levels.

One of the main benefits of insect consumption is its high protein intake, reaching in some cases to exceed 60% in its composition. This is directly linked to its reduced caloric intake and its shortage of carbohydrates, except fiber, which also has many advantages compared to other foods. Nor should we forget that they are an important source of fatty acids and minerals, equating to quality fish in terms of its composition.

In addition to all the health benefits, the consumption of insects has other benefits for people and the entire environment. To begin, with its production is much less expensive in terms of economic and natural resources. In addition, there are so many varieties of insects that exist throughout the planet that it is impossible to get bored of them or not be able to find one that suits the tastes of each person. Similarly, it is worth noting that they are tasty foods that can enrich any type of recipe, so it is advisable to eliminate as soon as possible all the prejudices about their consumption and start enjoying all the advantages of insects as daily food.
