The Miami gastronomic scene continues to evolve, so, chefs and friends are looking to become part of it. Famous chefs prepare all the fashion concepts you can imagine, from molecular gastronomy to comfort food.
The chef and restaurant owner Michael Schwartz, winner of the James Beard Award, opened his flagship restaurant, Michael's Genuine Food & Drink in the Design District in Miami, in 2007. Since then, the chef has opened several restaurants successful throughout Miami and the Caribbean.

Over the past two decades, chef Daniel Boulud, winner of the James Beard Award, has opened numerous restaurants. Its popular db Bistro Moderne restaurant is located in Downtown, at JW Marriott Marquis Miami.

Andrew Carmellini, a chef from New York and winner of the James Beard Award several times, opened The Dutch Miami at W Hotel South Beach. When he was a child, he used to visit his grandparents in Miami during the holidays, place where his grandfather led the original Surf Club.

Originally from Chicago, Dale Talde competed in both Top Chef: Chicago (2008) and Top Chef All-Stars (2010-2011). Since then, he opened three restaurants with the same name, TALDE, which gave a touch of modern American gastronomic pub to Asian cuisine.
