Sergio Martínez, oenologist and Foreman of Lustau Wineries, received this week the prize that credits him as "Best Enologist of Generous Wines in the World", at the awards gala held in London by the prestigious International Wine Challenge. This award is the result of the formidable results achieved in the 34th edition of the contest, in which Lustau, with 51 medals in total, is positioned as the winery with the most gold medals (19) of the entire contest.
"It is the result of the daily work of a great team. This award is for each and every one of us who work at Lustau. We continue walking", said Sergio after receiving the prize.
Luis Caballero, president of Bodegas Lustau, is proud of the award received: "The results of these last two years guarantee the appointment of Sergio as head of the Lustau team. No one better than him can maintain the quality and style that have always defined Lustau Wineries ".
Sergio revalidates the title he already won last year and that served as a springboard to also reach the title of Best Enologist of Spain, in October 2017.
