Atlántica Gastronómica A Coruña - Palexco from March 10 to 12, 2019

Atlántica Gastronómica” fair-congress will take place in the city of A Coruña from March 10 to 12, 2019. The event will be held in Palexco, a unique space for its privileged location in the heart of the city, with views of the ocean that gives its name to the event.

“Atlántica Gastronómica A Coruña” was created with the aim of being the reference gastronomic event of the Atlantic axis. It will bring together professionals from the food sector but will also open its doors to the people of A Coruña to bring them closer to the world of cooking and the product.

This private initiative of the Spanish company "Viajes Gastronómicos" (Menus Group) will include a complete program of tastings, show cooking, talks and various activities by renowned professionals from the local, national and international scene. These activities will be designed so that the public can know first-hand the quality of the products of proximity with origin guarantee. Likewise, it aims to provide visibility to all those producers who opt for the excellence of Galicia's raw materials and their Atlantic diet, positioning the product as the central axis of the event.

Some of the most important proposals are the creation of a Workshop that aims to become a competitive lever in the socioeconomic development of rural areas. For this, we will give to small producers the opportunity to establish commercial relationships with agents and importers of national and international origin; or the First international meeting of traditional cuisine of the Atlantic axis, in which invited countries such as Mexico (Guanajuato), Guatemala, Argentina, Portugal, etc., will be present.

In order to bring “Atlántica Gastronómica” to the city, different activities will also be carried out in establishments and public places in A Coruña. These activities will begin months before the celebration of the event and they intend to establish themselves continuously in the city and create an ecosystem of collaboration between the tourist sector and the enogastronomic.
