Ginger tea as a cold remedy

Ginger is a plant of the Zingiberáceas family. The rhizome (underground stem) is used as a condiment and also as a medicine. It can be used fresh, dried and powdered or as juice or oil. Given its spicy flavor and its too strong aroma it is advisable to consume it along with other foods, or to apply it in the preparation of dishes.

In cold season it is advisable to consume ginger tea with a touch of cinnamon, both ingredients are mixed to perfection and achieve a somewhat spicy flavor but with a delicious aroma. It is also customary to drink ginger tea with lemon, which, due to its citrus properties, helps fight the cold and its symptoms.

Consuming all kinds of ginger tea helps the body to warm up in cold weather, it also detoxifies the liver, this is because it contains substances that naturally protect the liver cells.
